Making Money Coaching Others

A coach is someone who takes their knowledge in a particular craft and shares it with others who also want to be successful in that field. Coaches can be experts in anything from writing to marketing to business itself.

If you are knowledgeable or experienced in a particular area, then you can become a coach quite easily and make money doing it. There are many coaches who help others in web design, graphic design, and even in the coaching field.

A coach usually offers tips and techniques to newbies within that field and answers questions throughout the learning process.

What skills are helpful?

The most important skill you should have for this type of business is being a good listener. You also should have great patience for your clients. Those who hire you to coach them want you to listen to their experiences and help guide them out of the muck they find themselves in no matter how strange they may sound. Being supportive is vital to coaching.

Building rapport and credibility in this business requires you knowing your field well. If you have never designed a website before, then coaching web designing would not be a good idea because your lack of experience will be spotted immediately and you will lose potential clients as well as trust.

What Tools will be needed?

The following tools are necessary in this type of business:

• Computer

• E-Mail

• Website

• Informative content for your site

• Shopping cart feature for your site to handle payments

• Telephone dedicated for business purposes

Most of your conversations with your clients will probably be through e-mail, but some people may be more comfortable talking to you on a more personal and one on one basis, so a phone should be included in your list of tools.

How to get started

Plan out your business. What services will you offer in which you have knowledge? Find some articles and other written content created to include on your website to help build credibility and expertise for your business.

Explain on your site how your services work and what your rate will be. Include some testimonials from others who have used your services before and were pleased with the results. Make your site easily navigable so others won’t get lost trying to find information about your coaching business.

Market your coaching business to get clients to come to you. Plan goals that your client wants to achieve by using you and discuss how those goals will be obtained. Listen to your clients’ problems and questions and provide insightful answers and support to keep them moving towards their goals.

Coaches are well sought after online for those who have knowledge or experience in a certain area. Use what you know about a topic and provide a coaching service to others to help them become an expert like you in the same field.

Your Tax Rate Went Up & You're Happy About It ???

Yes I know and agree that paying more taxes is not something to look forward to, but there's one time that I actually ENJOY paying more taxes. That is when I'm making more money! A friend once said they wouldn't mind paying more taxes as it just showed they had the money to pay the increased taxes.

Now imagine if you were suddenly paying more taxes next year than you earned this year. Would you still be upset that you had to pay more taxes?

Don't say anything yet because there's another little secret.

When you have your own business, you can actually pay LESS in taxes because of all the deductions businesses get that wage workers do not. Yes I know, but what? What can you do as a business owner that doesn't feel like you're working a double shift or force you to "bet the farm"?

There is a way to tap into an unlimited market. All you need to do is follow along and only when you're ready to, jump in and take it live. This involves:
  •  No Google
  •  No website
  •  No marketing of any kind needed
Like I said, take no action if you are not quite ready. Just watch these guys in real time and see how it all works.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. This is not a "back test" or some hokey simulation. This is happening live and in real time. Take some time to watch.

Goose Turds, Deer Crap, & Your Internet Biz

Ever notice how the exact same thing can elicit a completely different response depending on the situation? For example, my office is right next to a park, and I truly enjoy watching the geese floating in the ponds and the deer that come to feed on the berries that drop from the trees (not sure what they are but the deer just love them).

Yet I hate these same geese when they're on the greens at the golf course and leave a trail of "turds" all over the place. It really is true, nothing moves faster than grass through a goose. Also, nothing scares the "turds" out of you more than a deer in the middle of the road as you come around the bend at dusk or dawn.

Same geese, same deer, but a completely different feeling about them.

This concept is the same in business and work.

We all know going to work each day can be a real drag. It's really no wonder that most people hate Mondays and celebrate Fridays!

We are also smart enough to know that even running your own business requires many of the exact same skills and activities you're doing right now today while at work, and the dollars you earn still have good ol' George Washington on them. Yet for some reason, the work is far more fun and the dollars are far more rewarding when it's your own business. That is, when you're building your own business empire and not simply busting your butt so someone else can golf at their country club.

But Where Do You Start?

Most people believe they need to "start" with a website, but this is wrong and dangerous thinking because a website is absolutely worthless unless you can do one fundamental thing.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. Whether you're just starting or already a 'season veteran', if you are not doing this one thing, then your days are numbered.

Legitimate Money Making Idea: Blogging

Blogging started out as a way for people to connect to others and share pictures, stories and experiences. It was considered a personal journal one could use to leave his or her mark on the internet.

Since then blogs have evolved as excellent Marketing Tools as well as media to make money. There are a few ways to earn income from blogging. Here are a few:

Adsense ads

Popular search engines such as Google offer a way to earn a little extra money with any blog or website. The idea is to place these ads on your site, and when a visitor clicks on an ad from your site, you earn a pre-determined amount of money. The more clicks you can get from your site visitors, the more you can make. However, there are some strict rules involved, so if you choose to go this route, be sure to learn what not to do before signing up for their programs.

Product Reviews

There are some websites you can sign up with to help you connect with other companies who need people to review their products and get them some exposure on your blogs. Usually the main requirement for this is to have a blog that’s been around for awhile and has a fair amount of traffic. Those companies would pay you a specified amount to review their product on your blog.

Contextual Links

Some business or website owners will pay a blogger to post one of their links within their blog posts. It may be the owners themselves contacting the blog author or a company that acts as an intermediary. Those businesses will find blogs that are similar to their companies’ sites, so the links provided on the blogs will be search engine friendly. This is a great way to earn some extra traffic for your site.

Sell products

Blogs are another way from where you can sell your own products. Those who have businesses selling home décor items or food container items often use blogs to help sell their products and make more money online.

With these ideas for making money through blogging, what will you need to make your blogging experience worthwhile?

What skills would be helpful?

There isn’t much skill involved in this type of business except the ability to market your blog. You would want to research blogging as much as possible to learn some of the tricks of the trade to make your blog popular.

What Tools would be needed?

Your main tool, besides a computer with an internet connection, would be a blog. There are many blogging programs out there to choose from. Some are free to set up while others require a monthly or annual fee to get started.

Paid blogging programs can help you connect with other blogs and increase your blog’s traffic. The free versions are extremely easy to set up, and most are extremely popular amongst bloggers. Therefore, finding people to connect with wouldn’t be too hard to do.

How to get started

Sign up with a blogging program and start posting entries to it. Make sure you are blogging on a regular basis, which would be about 2 times a week. Blogs that aren’t updated regularly tend to get lost in cyberspace.

Market your blog as much as possible. Get listed on blog directories, such as Technorati. Also, get on other people’s blog rolls and comment on other blog author’s posts to get some exposure to your blog. You should also ping your blog each time you make a post; use Pingomatic to do this. The more traffic you drive to your blog, the higher your chance of making blogging a lucrative way to make money.

Most of the blogging programs will have a sign up for adsense ads already included in their set up feature, so getting started with that will be easy. Blogger allows you to plug in your Amazon affiliate id. If you want to provide product reviews and contextual links, you will want to blog for a period of time to get a fair amount of traffic coming to it.

When your blog is ready, find the companies that will help you connect with businesses that will want to pay to have their products reviewed or have their links embedded with your blog post entries. Once that is set up, you can start earning some extra income with your blog.

Blogging is an easy way to earn some extra cash if you plan to work hard marketing it. Those successful at blogging for money use every route possible to get their blog well known in the internet communities and the search engines. The ones that do not tend to earn only a few cents a week, if even that.

So become one of the more successful bloggers and make your blog your business instead of just a hobby to partake in once in awhile. Your pocketbook will thank you for it.

Make Money Selling Information Products

The internet is a great place to sell your knowledge and expertise. Many people will pay almost anything to get information they are desperately looking for, so if you have the knowledge that they want, you could earn a substantial income.

Information products come in many forms. They could be any one of the following:

  • Ebooks

  • E-Courses

  • Tutorials

  • Guides

  • Podcasts

These popular information products are well sought after by internet users all over. If you have something to say, this could be the business for you.

What skills are helpful?

You should know about the topic that you’re going to present to your consumers. It is not necessary to have a doctorate degree or of any kind of degree to do this, but having a considerable amount of knowledge in the field would be helpful.

Also, the ability to market your materials will be helpful. The more people you reach with your products, the more people who may want to buy from you.

What Tools will be needed?

The tools you need will depend on what you plan to provide. E-Books and Guides can be written on word processing software and then converted to a PDF document. PDF documents are the most popular type of documents.

Auto responder programs are needed for creating successful e-courses. Podcasts would need audio recording and editing software. Tutorials can be done a variety of ways. You can use Power Point presentations to present your material, or you could use video tutorial software. Video tutorials are great for showing users how to use a specific program step by step.

Websites and blogs are also necessary for promoting your information products.

How to get started

You will need to decide on a topic for your product. What area do you have the most knowledge about that you could provide your potential consumers? When you know what you want to provide, research that topic to see if you can find a new and unique angle to present it.

Since there are lots of ebooks, tutorials, etc. on the internet for sale, you will need to find something new to give to your customers. They will not be as willing to hand over their money if they don’t think you have something new and unique to give them.

Write out or record your information product and edit it to your satisfaction. Once you have it the way you want it, you can start selling it. Create a blog or website to sell it from and make sure the site’s web copy content grabs internet user’s attention so they can purchase what you are offering.

Hire a copywriter if you can afford one to write the copy to promote those materials. Your copywriter can write content in a way that makes your product so desirable that anyone would want to purchase it.

Creating information products does not cost a lot, but you can sell them for a nice profit. This is an excellent way to earn income online while maintaining a flexible schedule which allows you to spend more time with your family.

Planning a Pool Party: How to Prepare

Each year, many people search for the perfect party idea. If you have a pool in your backyard, you might already have what you need for the perfect party -- a pool. Pool parties are nice because not only do they allow you to socialize with those that you know, but they also give everyone a way to cool off. If you are considering hosting a pool party, you will need to plan. Despite what you may think, there is actually a lot of planning involved in hosting a pool party.

Perhaps, the first step in planning a pool party is to let everyone know that you are having one. Although pool parties may not be like birthday parties or Christmas parties, you may still want to send out invitations. These invitations, if you choose to send them, do not have to be elaborate. In fact, since your pool party will most likely be casual, your invitations should be as well. If invitations are not your style, you may want to phone your friends or send them an email inviting them to your pool party.

Once you let your guests know you are planning a pool party, you can start preparing for the party. While it is not always important, you may want to consider confirming with guests whether or not they will be able to attend. Having an accurate guest count will help you better prepare for your party. In fact, a guest count will enable you to determine how much food, drinks, or snacks will need.

If you plan on including a barbeque, you will need to decide what type of food you would like to serve. Like any other special occasion, you may want to have a wide variety of food. This will ensure that there will be at least one thing on the menu that each guest will enjoy. In addition to main course, you will also want to include side dishes. These side dishes commonly include fruits, vegetables, and salads.

After you decide which foods you would like to serve at your barbeque, you will also need to think about making them. Even if your party isn’t for a few weeks, you will still want to develop a cooking schedule ahead of time. Although your main courses, such as barbequed meat, will be prepared the day of your pool party, you may want to prepare everything else earlier that day or the day before. This will help to ensure not only that you get all of the food prepared on time, but that you are also able to enjoy your own party.

Although I previously mentioned including a barbeque with your pool party, it is not required that you actually do so. However, if you plan on having a pool party without involving a meal, you may still want to have snacks and drinks on hand. Non-alcoholic drinks and most snack foods can be purchased for a reasonable price. Also, alcoholic drinks make for a great party, but some drinks can be expensive to purchase, especially in large quantities.

Aside from the food and entertainment, you will also want to make sure you have a number of pool supplies and accessories on hand. These items may include, but should not be limited to, beach balls, lifejackets, floaties, swim rings, floating chairs, and other popular swim toys. If you do not already have a large collection of swim toys, many pool toys, such as swim rings, floaties, and beach balls, can be purchased for a reasonable price. In fact, many of these items only cost around two or three dollars. It is also a good idea to have extra towels on hand, just in case any of your guests forget to bring their own.

Although pool parties are designed to be fun, you may want to establish some pool rules ahead of time. These rules will help keep your pool and your pool party guests safe, especially young children. Whether you are planning a simple pool party or an elaborate one, it is likely that you will be happy with your decision to plan your party ahead of time.

Hot & Steamy...the dirty little secret

Got this email from my friend Dani...

Hi Justin

Hot and sweltering outside...that can mean only one thing...vacation!

And this translates into one thing for internet marketers as well...slow sales.

So what do you do if you're looking for an online gig and it's the middle of summer?

You have 2 choices:

1. Wait and/or prepare for fall.

2. Something that works in summer.

The key is to have a 2nd income stream that is NOT dependent upon online sales in the summer because you just will not find as many opportunities.

People are at the pool, they're camping, they're taking vacations...and while they're doing that, they're not buying your stuff.

But what never stops?

Rain or shine the markets never stop. So if you're looking for a 2nd stream, or a new stream, or whatever...

...take a look at something that does not care what season it is because it does not need customers (or selling of any sort).

Warmly

How to Stop Paying Cable Bills

Want to know how you can get thousands of TV channels on your PC without having to pay another monthly bill?

With today’s rocky economic climate, many households are cutting back on whatever they can, and with the cost of cable and satellite television being anywhere from $65- $150 a month (a lot more if you count premium movie channels), the first thing many people are axing in their homes are their television sets. Some of us, like me, are even doing without cable or satellite and are sticking to whatever's on broadcast television. Is there a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?

Welcome to Satellite Direct -- the future of television.

With no subscription services or monthly bills, no hardware to install, and 24/7 unlimited access, it is no wonder why Internet Media Magazine hailed Satellite Direct as “unequivocally the best TV to PC software on the net”? There are tons of so-called “Great Deals” on satellite television service for your PC that they just end up giving you limited access to channels, not to mention dozens of hidden fees that just end up costing you more than your current cable service.

So for less than the price of one month’s subscription to a cable or satellite service, you can enjoy a lifetime of television -- over 3,500 channels! -- from the convenience of your laptop or desktop. This without all the hassles of waiting for installation, or hours on hold with the cable company. Installing Satellite Direct is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

So what is required to get started?

1. Register -- Answer a few simple questions, and their easy registration system will process your ONE TIME payment. That’s right, no monthly bills -- ever.

2. Download -- Follow the easy, on screen instructions to download the software. There's no hardware to install AND no equipment to buy.

3. Watch and Enjoy -- Sit back and enjoy thousands of television channels, from soaps and sports, to movies and dramas, any time, day or night.

Plus, with a crystal clear picture and sound quality, exceptional customer service, and a lifetime of television for less than you’d pay for just one month of cable service, Satellite Direct is the best way to get the most for your TV dollar.

This is great if you do not have cable, or just don't want to pay those high cable bills ever again.

Making Money with Private Label Rights

Private Label Rights, or PLR, is written content that can be sold to others to use for whatever purpose they wish. Website owners search for these to get content for their sites for a small or even no fee.

When putting it that way it doesn’t sound like a money making opportunity, but the thing is, the same package of written content can be sold numerous times to other people. Here’s how it works.

For example, let’s say you are selling a package of 10 articles all about the same topic. Let’s say pet care. Typically, these packages are sold at about $1 an article. Someone who has a website about pet care needs articles to place on their site, so they buy a package from you. You just made $10.

Now, that same package of 10 articles can be sold again and again and again. In the end, you can sell the same 10 articles 50 times over bringing you a grand total of $500 just for that one package. You can sell more than one package of PLR articles at the same time, thus increasing your profit potential.

Everyone charges something different and offers different types of PLR content as well as diverse article topics. In addition to article packages, you can sell ebooks and special reports. People can take these articles and change them to their needs to use whatever way they desire.

What skills are helpful?

Writing skills are necessary. You would need to write good quality articles even though those who buy them will change them anyway. You could hire a ghostwriter to write them, but keep in mind you would have to pay the ghostwriter for his or her time, so this is a good option if you don’t mind losing spending some money.

It is also necessary to market your PLR content. In order to make good money in this business, you will need to get people to find your content. This means pulling out all the stops when starting this business.

What tools will I need?

If you’re going to write the article content yourself, you would need a computer with word processing software installed. A website will also be needed so you have a place to sell your PLR.

If you choose to hire someone to write the content for you, then you will need to find a ghostwriter that fits your budget and provides good quality content.

How do you get started?

The first place to start will be getting the articles written. You will want to make sure that the package of articles that you will sell together relate to a certain topic. Topics can include gardening, pet care, nutrition, exercise, etc. It is a good idea that each article package contains articles in the same topic.

Decide which price you will sell the articles for, and get a website set up to sell them from. You can certainly use a website that provides the service of selling them for you, but you’re better off selling them off your own site and marketing them yourself.

There is good money in PLR if you choose this kind of business since there are millions of websites out there that need quality content. With good marketing techniques, you can quite easily make a good living for you and your family.

A good place to get started would be to check out Private Label Blowout.

Legitimate Online Businesses: Making Money Selling Products

There are a few different ways to make money selling products. One way is to create and sell your own products. Crafters often get into this type of business to sell their own creations to the online public, and scrapbook creators choose this path for their business.

Another way to sell products is through an online store that sells already made products. With this way, you would not have to stock an inventory of items in your home, nor would you have to ship anything directly from your own location. The products are ordered through the ‘store’ you have set up and the wholesaler providing the products will ship the items directly to the customers for you. This way is popularly known as drop shipping.

What skills are helpful?

Hard work and good customer services skills are among the skills you should have. In addition, a lot of time will be needed to market your websites so potential customers will find you. Having a good website set up is necessary to provide customers everything they will need when deciding whether or not to buy your products.

Customers will also have questions about the products, and they may have some problems that you will need to address, so good customer service skills are a must. Establishing good rapport with your customers starts the cycle of them coming back to you to buy more. Therefore, providing them with top notch customer service will help you gain rapport.

What tools are needed?

If you chosen to sell products that you created yourself, you will need to stock up on an inventory of items to create them. Check with some vendors and craft stores to find deals on items that are purchased in bulk to help you save some money.

Of course a website is necessary as well since your customers will need to find your products, see what they are, and have a way to order what you’re offering. Make sure your site has a shopping cart feature to make the purchasing process easier for your business and customers.

How do you get started?

The first thing you need to do is to decide what you’re going to sell. Are you creating your own products to sell or are you planning to sell other products through the use of drop shippers?

If you’re planning to sell items you create yourself, you will need to research vendors for the materials you will need to make those products. Have some made up ahead of time, so that when consumers are ready to order your product, you can ship them out right away and not make them wait another day or two while you create them.

When the planning stage is done, you will need to create your website from where to you’re your products. Make sure your site is easy to navigate and doesn’t distract to where customers are turned off from your business within the first few seconds.

Of course, the last step to getting started in this business is marketing your products and website. This is the most important step if you want your business to be a success, so don’t skimp on this one.

Selling products is an excellent way to make money online. If you have already created products to give away as gifts to friends and family, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take these products to the internet and start selling them.

If you like the idea of selling products, but don’t want to create them yourself, or if you just don’t feel you are creative enough then you can still achieve this kind of business by having someone else ship products for you. Getting started this way online gives you the flexibility to spend the time needed with your family while still earning a living.

Why Pay Per Click Programs Suck

Have you ever tried to make money with your website and/or blog by posting ads?

Many of us have used Google AdSense or other pay to click ads trying to monetize our sites, just trying to make some money.  We were not doing anything wrong.  Yet unfortunately most, if not all, people who have tried AdSense have had a roadblock put before us while going down the road to making money online.

Since the beginning AdSense has been scrutinized as being easy prey for click fraud.  Many AdSense users have been victims of click fraud with the ads on their sites.  Of course, there are those who are dishonest who do click on their own ads, or get friends and family to do so.  Google doesn't even like it when sites with AdSense are placed in the Traffic Exchanges, such as Traffic Swarm.

Yet for those of us who are honest, we get our AdSense accounts terminated because other people are fraudulently clicking on our ads without us being aware of such.  Unfortunately, Google could be looked at as an evil corporation.  Some AdSense users get their accounts terminated just because they are making money, and Google is justifying that by saying your site has been suspected of fraudulent clicks, whether or not that is true.

When click fraud is suspected, whether or not it is the case, you forfeit any earnings, which are refunded back to the company who had the AdWords account which brought the AdSense ads to your site.  The thing is, your site was suspected of click fraud, even though you did not click on your own ads and other visitors to your site did without your knowledge.

What's bad is no matter what, once your AdSense account is terminated, there is no going back.

So after that I tried Bidvertiser.  Things were going great there until I was recently terminated for "invalid clicks".  I did not make these clicks.  I can attest to that.

Moreover, I'm not sure how much credibility Bidvertiser should have.  They did not even send an email saying my account was terminated.  After not being able to see ads on my blog, I had to login to my account and see that my account was terminated.  Here is the screenshot:

This is a screenshot with my added comments.  Notice it has a blank after "Dear," and no reason for termination.  Notice my comment, "What if I don't remove the HTML code..."  I also pointed out that if this is the way the screen is that their HTML coding sucks.  I actually logged in to the support area and expressed my concern.  I even uploaded this screenshot and told them about their HTML code.  Then again, I don't think Bidvertiser cared.  They just stated my account was terminated for invalid clicks and that the decision was final.

I did rebuttal with threats that I would not purchase ads from them and with improper language as well as threats to slander the company, but then again, I don't think they cared.

Of course I can also say Bidvertiser has no credibility because they are hypocrites.

As per this screenshot, they show FriendFinder as one of their advertisers.  In fact, in this screenshot, FriendFinder is a featured advertiser:

But here's another screenshot that says something different:

Bidvertiser does not allow you to place ads on sites with adult or sexual content!  HELLO!  FriendFinder is considered an adult/sexual program!  If a company had integrity, they would not accept an Adult/Sexual program as an advertiser when they don't allow publishers to post ads on adult or sexual content websites!  This makes Bidvertiser hypocrites!

Then again, if I were to bring this up with Bidvertiser, they would deny that FriendFinder is an adult program.  IT IS!  They advertise themselves as such!  Bidvertiser can say what they want, but as far as I'm concerned, they get no credibility from me!

So yes we can say pay per click programs are shams.  Another reason is with Google AdWords.

Google does not want you to make money from AdSense, but if you're an AdWords user, they will try to squeeze as much money out of you as they can.  Bidvertiser does the same thing with their advertisers.

If you're an AdWords user, you are charged each time someone clicks on your ad.  You also set up a budget for bidding on keywords.  Each keyword has a cost per click (CPC), and the lower the gravity of that keyword, the higher the CPC.  This can cost AdWords users a lot of money with no return on investment (ROI).  If you are not getting enough clicks from your ads, or if Google believes you are not, the only advice they would give you is to increase your budget.  Doing that will end up giving you a bill too high to pay.  That is too costly, especially if no one purchased anything when clicking on your ad.

This happened to me, and I complained to Google.  I just got the generic response about how ads should be related to what site visitors will go to when they click on the ads.  The response also included that visitors will leave without purchasing anything if it turns out the site is not related to the ad.

You see, on the internet you have more window shoppers than buyers.  People just want to click on Google ads and see where they will go by clicking on the link.  They have no interest in buying anything.  Each time someone clicks on the ad, it costs the AdWords user.  Hey, I could go to any site, and click on ads over and over again, doing so repeatedly without buying anything.  Each time I click I will cost the AdWords user money and I will give the AdSense user a temporary feeling of making some money through AdSense only for his/her AdSense account to be terminated for "fraudulent clicks" and never to have an AdSense account ever again.  Yet the AdWords user will be charged for the clicks causing a loss of income.

What can be said about this?

I am not longer an AdWords user because of this.  If somehow AdWords users could complain to Google that they suspect click fraud when they get charged so much for clicks with no ROI.  Google would supposedly investigate but would only refund the charges for known big companies, not affiliate marketers advertising a product, website, or blog.

This is what sucks about pay per click programs.  I think I'm better off promoting Amazon or Clickbank.  I don't know, but this is my rant on this topic for now.

Types of Legitimate Online Businesses: Making Money from Membership Sites

In addition to Service Based Businesses, Affiliate Marketing, and Selling on E-Bay, there are some online business owners who make money by selling memberships to their websites. This works by people purchasing memberships to certain sites to gain access to content that the website owner provides on a regular basis.

For example, you might offer memberships to your site for internet users who need articles for their websites or blogs. These memberships would need to be renewed every few months or so depending on how long your memberships are good for. Each time someone renews their membership, you make more money.

This type of business has a pretty high profit potential, and it would not cost much to provide your members with informational items. In addition, you could charge them a nice amount to access those items, thereby giving you a profit that keeps on giving.

What skills are helpful?

Marketing skills will be the most helpful. These skills come into play when getting those internet users to your site to purchase your memberships. This is what will make you the money. You also should have some knowledge of running a website as this could be useful as well keeping your site running smoothly for your members.

You should also have some knowledge of the products you’re offering. For example, if you’re offering articles to your members, you should know what makes a good article and how they work for the different purposes.

What tools are needed?

You will need a high quality website to handle the demands that your membership site will bring. You should provide excellent customer service should something go wrong with your site. Also, you should invest in some membership site management software program that can help you get your site set up and running. You can find these programs for less than $100.

Content for the site is another tool you will need. You need to provide your paying members with fresh content to use regularly. It could be in the form of written articles, software programs, or even online games. This all depends on what you plan to give to your members.

How do you get started?

You will need to plan your membership site beforehand. What do you plan to offer your members? Will it be content, software, online games, etc? When you have made your decision, come up with a new and different angle to provide your consumers.

You could provide content in a specific niche, like nutrition, or you could offer a certain kind of written content. Just do whatever it takes to provide internet users with a fresh angle. This will help you stand out from the crowd of other membership site owners out there.

Next, get your membership site created with a shopping cart feature to handle the payments for the memberships. The membership management software program should come with all you need to accomplish your business. Then all you would need is the content to give to your members.

The most important step will be to market your membership site to get people to find you. You can market though SEO, Pay Per Click, classified ad sites, traffic exchange programs. The possibilities are endless. Try doing a search for marketing techniques in the search engines.

Membership sites can offer you a means of earning residual income. If people are satisfied with what you give them, they will have no problem handing you their money to keep renewing their memberships maintain their access to your site’s content.

Types of Legitimate Online Businesses: Selling on E-Bay

In addition to Service Based and Affiliate Marketing businesses, another popular online business that a lot of people usually start out with is Selling on E-Bay. E-Bay is a popular online auction website that millions of people use every day to find good deals on items they are looking for.

You can sell anything you have sitting around your house as well as sell items using a drop ship method. If you search on the site, you will see a variety of items people are trying to sell. They could either be used items or brand new items that come from wholesalers. Either way, people will pay good money if you provide them with what they’re looking for.

Some people even go so far as to buy items from flea markets and garage sales for the sole purpose of reselling them on E-Bay for a profit.

What skills are helpful?

There aren’t a lot of skills you would need to sell items on e-bay. The ability to market your items will be the most important skill to have. People can do a search on the site for the items you’re selling, but if you want to make money in this type of business, you will want to market those items elsewhere to get people to find them.

If you’re selling items from your home, you need to take a good photo of the item so people can see what shape the item is in, not to mention the item itself.

What tools are needed?

Really, the only tools you would need to start this type of business include an E-Bay account so you can sell your items. If you plan to use a drop ship method, you would need to find a wholesaler that will ship the items directly to your customers.

Also, a computer with a reliable internet access will be necessary to keep track of your sales. You will also need a payment account such as PayPal to receive money from your customers.

How do you get started?

Sign up for an E-Bay seller account. Also, plan on purchasing items from the site as this will help build your user ratings so others will have a little more confidence in buying from you.

Place photos, if possible, of the items that you want to sell. Items that have a photo of the items sell much faster than those that do not. People like to see what it is they’re buying, so provide them with the best quality photo possible.

Review all informational materials as well as the rules on E-Bay. This is so you can get tips on making more sales and how the process of selling on the site works.

Selling on E-Bay is an excellent way to start your own online business. This gives you your first taste of an online business without having to obtain a lot of equipment to get started. Plus, you get the benefit of getting rid of items that are cluttering up your home while you make a little money on the side.

Types of Legitimate Online Businesses: Affiliate Marketing

Another type of legitimate online business is affiliate marketing.

This is an online business where you use your selling and marketing expertise to get consumers to buy other people’s products and earn income from the sales you have made. Typically, you would earn a pre-determined amount of money based on the sales you make of those products, but in some cases, you could make money from the clicks from your site that get the consumers to the affiliate websites.

Sometimes you can earn money by getting customers to sign up for things on the affiliate sites, such as newsletters, free stuff, etc. Each affiliate program discusses this further about how they work. So when you sign up for their program, be sure to check out how their process works. Check the terms and conditions of being an affiliate for that site. Visitors to the affiliate site from your site will be kept track of through an affiliate link that you’re provided with to place on your site.

What skills are helpful?

You don’t have to be a salesperson or a marketer to be an affiliate marketer. Knowledge on how to do these things will be important though. Learn everything you can about how online marketing works and learn how to be a successful affiliate marketer from other top marketers. It also helps to learn something about the product you are promoting as well as any personal experience you have with that particular product.

It will take hard work and much dedication to get your affiliate marketing business to be successful. If you don’t have the time or patience to work hard, don’t consider this as your online business.

What tools are needed?

A minimal amount of tools will be needed. Besides the usual computer with reliable internet access, you should have a website or at least a blog from where to sell the affiliate products. You won’t have to stock up on the products just to sell them.

Your website will need fresh content on a regular basis. Therefore, be prepared to either write some articles yourself or hire someone to write them for you. A blog with a link to your site will be helpful and will make the search engines happy with you.

How do you get started?

You will need to determine what niche you have for your affiliate marketing website. This helps you to stand out from your competitors. For example, you could use nutrition as your niche. Then you would create a website based on the niche you chose for your business.

Find affiliate products to sell from that site. Make sure that the products you decide to sell for your business are related in some way to the niche you have chosen for your affiliate marketing business. Search Clickbank, Paydotcom, Commission Junction, or Amazon for products related to your chosen niche. You can type in the name of your niche in search bars for products on those sites.

So, if your niche is in the nutritional field, you will want to offer affiliate products that are related in some way to nutrition. If you don’t offer related products in your business, you will risk appearing as unprofessional and the search engines won’t be too pleased with you as well, not to mention being accused of spamming.

There are many people who make quite a bit of money running this type of business. Depending on your chosen niche affiliate marketing can also be a service based business. The reason is you are providing consumers reviews of products and recommending which ones are best; therefore you are providing a service to the consumer.

It’s important to remember that the most work you will have in this type of business will be marketing your website to get consumers to find you. When they find you, your site should be able to get them interested in your products to the point where they will buy through your affiliate links.

Types of Legitimate Online Businesses: Service Based Businesses

There are several types of online businesses you can start. Some of these include Service Based, Affiliate Marketing, Selling On eBay, Membership Sites, Selling Products, including through Private Label Rights and Informational Products, Blogging, Coaching, Genealogy, Desktop Publishing, as well as those created from unusual ideas. Any of these can help you get started, but you might want to research each option to see which one suits your needs before getting started. Right now we will discuss what entails Service Based Businesses.

A service based business is one where you offer some type of service to potential clients. Some of these include:
  • Writing
  • Web Design
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • Virtual Assistant

There are many tasks involved in getting a small business started, and many small business owners are having a difficult time getting all of their tasks done by themselves. Therefore, they outsource these tasks to someone else. They look for those who offer the services needed to be done for them.

If you have experience in one or some of these areas, you could offer it as a service by starting your own business selling yourself. For instance, if you have some writing experience and can write well, you can offer that as a service to those who need writing done for their websites.

What skills are needed?

Depending on the type of service you choose to provide your potential clients, you should have some amount of skill under your belt. It’s not necessary to have college degrees to perform these services, but clients like to see that you have some kind of experience to complete the tasks they need done.

Working online doesn’t provide the face to face contact that brick and mortar companies have when they hire employees. Trust comes a little harder online, so people do like to know something about the person they’re hiring and that that person has skills and knowledge in a particular field.

Although it’s not necessary to have 10+ years experience performing a service, the fact that you have done it before and have some testimonials to back up those claims helps tremendously.

What tools are needed?

The tools you will need depend on the type of service you plan to provide. The more common skills that most service based businesses should have are:
  • Computer
  • Reliable Internet Access
  • Phone
  • E-mail Program
  • Website

There will probably be some software programs needed as well. Each service uses some different programs, but most will need a word processing program, excel program, as well as some web designing program.

You should also consider an Instant Messaging program for those clients who would like to be able to contact you instantly without having to call or wait for an e-mail response.

How do you get started?

First thing you want to do is decide which type of service you plan to offer your clients. Jot down everything you can think of that shows you have some experience or knowledge in that particular field.

Next, create your website. Showcase your skills or experience on your site and provide clients with testimonials from other people who have used your skills and were pleased with the results. Include your rates and any other information about and how you run your business.

Market your site on various places on the internet to get your online business out there for potential clients to find and check out. Post ads on Classified Ad sites and post your business’s profile on sites like Manta.com. When clients contact you to hire you for whatever service they need, reiterate to them how things will go. For example, let them know how they will be invoiced for the work done and how much it will cost, etc.

It will take awhile to build a list of regular clients, so don’t expect to be making tons of money right away. Give it time and keep marketing your service based business until you get to the point where you get some much work that you’re practically turning away potential clients.

Running a service based business is a perfect option for those who already are performing that service at another job. In most cases, you could make more money offering those services online than you can by working a brick and mortar position.

Getting Started With Cash Building Strategies

The fear of the process of getting started tends to make people procrastinate when starting their own business. This fear usually boils down to the fact that many just don’t know how to do it, or where to even start, but there is help with this process. So lay your fears to rest, and you can move through the getting started phase with ease.

To start here are some frequently asked questions that most newbies have with the process of getting started.

Do I have to have special skills or degrees to start my own business?

You will need to have some knowledge in the field in which you are going to embark, but it’s not necessary to have any business or college degrees to accomplish starting your own business; that’s not to say having such will not be beneficial, but personal experience can help as well. Of course, it will depend on the type of business you want to start.

Simple research in the field you plan to start your business will be sufficient enough to give you what you need in most cases. If you’re planning to offer services such as web design or something similar, you should have some skills in that area before trying to start your business.

College degrees and experience are always helpful in gaining expertise in a field, but you usually don’t have to have any degrees to have your own online business. Knowledge has more power online, so reading everything you can get your hands on relating to your field will more important.

Will it Cost a lot of money?

Starting your own online business generally does not cost much money. The money you put into it is mostly for a computer, internet access, and a website, including hosting. Any other costs will be based on the type of business you wish to get into.

Businesses where you will sell items you have created will take some investment to stock the inventory items, but there are great deals you can find on the internet for this purpose. If you plan to sell a service, such as web design, you will need to add software programs to your list of tools to purchase.

For the most part, you won’t have to run to your local bank to beg them for a loan. Find the best deals on the items you’ll need for your chosen business, and you won’t have to worry about the interest rates a loan would add to your budget.

Will I still be able to start my own business online, even if I’ve never run my own business before?

Absolutely. Hundreds of Internet Marketers have started their own businesses and made a success of it without having had any previous business experience. Again, it all adds up to how much time and effort you put into your research.

The internet itself holds a plethora of information at your fingertips to help you learn every aspect of the business you want to start. You can find tips, tricks, and all sorts of information from people who’ve been there and done it, so utilize this resource to gain the power that knowledge will bring you.

How much money can I make from an online business?

This varies on a lot of factors. What business you start, how much time and effort you put into it, and the return of investment on what you’re offering; all play a part in what you will essentially make.

Some internet marketers make a six figure income, while others make the same amount a full time fast food worker generally makes. No matter how much your business brings in, you will still be ahead of those who commute to their jobs. The money they spend on gas, clothes for work, and meals, etc is money that goes into your pocket and not someone else’s.

Do I really need a website?

A website will be needed in order to conduct your business. You will need to sell your products or show potential clients what services you have to offer. It serves as your ‘office’ or ‘store’ would, only you won’t need to rent out expensive space in a building to use for your online business.

Websites are pretty easy to create if you use one of the many website design software programs or website building services. If you choose, you can also hire a web designer to create a killer site for your business, so don’t let your lack of web design skills hold you back.

Do I need special business licenses to run an online business?

You will want to check with your local government agencies or Better Business Bureau to determine what you will need in your area. Each area is different, so it’s best to check and see what you need before starting your business.

I’m nervous about taking money from customers. What if I mess up the payment processing system?

If you’re selling items, you will want to use an online payment system like PayPal or Clickbank. These programs will take care of the whole payment process for you, including refunds. Shopping cart software a lot of times will come with a web building program, so take advantage of that option.

With this you will be well on your way to a successful online income. To your success!

Nothing Happens Until...

...You take action.

It's a pretty simple concept I know, but it is critical.

But actually taking action is not as simple as it seems because all action is not good action.

This is what causes so many people to freeze up and not take any action at all, which means they never get out of the same old rut they've been in forever.

Now I won't pretend that I know what action is best for you, it's a different answer for everyone.

I also realize that even you may not know what's right for YOU.

This is why I want you to take a look at a powerful system three guys invented and use themselves on a daily basis.

But DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT do anything until you get to look over their shoulder, view their actions, and get your own test account to play with.

Is it right for you?

I'm not sure, but you can find out yourself without cost or worries.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. It's true that people do make a killing in Forex, but like any other business you need to do it the right way. So make sure you use a test account BEFORE you do anything else.

Take Action - But Only Look Now

Busting The Myths of Online Income

Today's world is uncertain, but there is one thing we know that is certain, and it's that times are tough. Inflation is rising everywhere, and you’re busting your tail just to make ends meet. Yet just when you think you’re making some head way, life throws you a curve ball that strikes you out at home plate.

Bills are piling up, and the cost of necessities is rising as gas prices continue to fluctuate. You have arrived at a time in your life where working for a living seems to be shoving you further in a hole you can’t dig out of.

What you should do is take a deep breath and relax. Why? Because there is an answer to this maddening situation you have found yourself in. Yes, you can earn a living that doesn’t bury you in an avalanche. You can rise up and see the soul-warming sunshine that others have seen.

So take comfort in knowing that inner peace is within your grasp, and you can find it by earning an income online.

Be aware that one thing for certain with earning an income online is there are the issues of internet fraud. It is important to understand that there is no reason to let doubt get in your way when deciding which online business path you should take.

Scams, spam, and fraud seem to synonymous with the word internet these days. So many skeptics put this way of earning a living down just because the internet is involved. They will yell scam or fraud on the rooftops upon hearing any kind of online money-making opportunity.

While there are scams out there in the online business cyberspace, there are just as many legitimate opportunities to explore. Research will give you a lot of information and tips for spotting these scams. This way you can move forward toward earning a living from the comfort of your own home.

Over the years, scams and fraud have grown in all areas of the internet. This has made people, understandably, concerned about doing anything online. There are legitimate ways to make money on the internet. A lot of people have successfully done so and continue to do so today. So, don’t let this opportunity pass you by because of lingering doubts.

You can make the money legitimately and avoid those nasty scams that prey on would be online earners.

The more informed you are about internet scams, the more confident you will be when searching for an online business. Take the upper hand and be in control of your business future before someone tries to take advantage of you. Here are some scam myths that are about to be busted!

Here are some of the popular statements made by most of the internet frauds and the truth behind them:

Myth - Make Money Overnight! – These scams promise you a way of making money while you sleep. They make it sound like there is little work involved to obtaining this.

Truth - While it’s certainly possible to achieve, it will take hard work and much dedication to be able to make this claim. Most online businesses will take a little time to get up and running, but will be well worth your effort in the end.

Myth - Turn your Computer into a Money making cash machine! - Actually, there are a lot of statements that start off with this kind of sales pitch.

Truth - The statement itself could be true, but be careful of a sales pitch that starts off this way. Most online business opportunities sell the business itself. Scammers tend to sell the money making benefit. Usually, in that case, there really is no business - to you that is. To the scammer they’re making money off people paying them for what they say they will give you.

Myth - Start your business absolutely free - No money involved! - They push the fact that you can get a business going with absolutely no money in start-up fees.

Truth - This type of scam will scream the ‘no money involved’ statement, but then turn around and ask you to pay them a certain amount (already overpriced) for information on how to get a business started for free. Hmm...aren’t they contradicting themselves? There will be some costs to start up a business, but very rarely do they ever break the bank.

Myth - Start Earning a Living from Typing at Home - This statement is similar to a lot of others plastered on the internet claiming that you can start a business from home with your typing or in some cases, data entry skills.

Truth - Yes, you can earn money typing or performing data entry from home, but not with these guys. You’re better off offering these services to clients yourself and avoiding paying the scammers for the information on how to do it. You can find out how to do it - with your own research for Free!

There are many more scam opportunities out there, but these will give you some ideas on how those frauds work and who they like to prey upon, especially those victims of the economy who are in desperate need for improving their financial situation. Be aware of your options, and don’t be afraid to research any opportunity you don’t feel comfortable with.

Sarah Palin Wouldn't Do This Either

Whenever I mention a politician in conversation, email, or see posts on social networking sites, there seems to be some sort of Sarah Palin debate.

So let me say this...

A. This is not intended to be political

B. She's not in office... I hate to say John and Sarah lost

C. No politician can help you

My point is that you have to help yourself.

If you're ready to take control and do something reliable, then take just 30 seconds to look. Do it NOW because no politician can help you.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. Do I think Sarah is better than Barack? Maybe, maybe not, but I just hope Michelle is helping Barack out - LOL. To understand what I'm talking about, check out this previous post.

Barack Obama is definitely NOT...

...he's definitely not going to "save or create" a job for you...or me.

Politicians don't "create" jobs. Businesses do, people do, communities do...but politicians DON'T.

All they can do is get out of the way so the rest of us can create the jobs they take credit for. So do what I and others did and create your own job (business really...it's better).

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. If you're waiting for someone from the government to knock on your door and hand you a job... you're in for a loooooooong wait.

You need to take action now!

Today I woke up to this ...

There was this check sitting on my desk, and it was written out to my name from someone I don't even know. Strange, maybe?

Fortunately this is what happens to me from time to time. It's the way things work out for me as well as how I live.

It's also so much easier than relying solely on my regular paycheck like before. It's additional income on my terms and my time, and it provides rewards.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. Easy? Welfare is easy, but learning takes a little effort, but I did this quickly and so can you. It really is easy.

Most things don't take effort, but this does. Look at it right now before you get distracted.

Frustrated by your lack of success online? This will help...

Are you one of those people who have been trying forever to start an Internet business, but you never seem to make any progress?

Maybe you've got too many demands on your time, maybe you're suffering from "information overload," or maybe you just lack the motivation or confidence to do it.

Whatever the challenges are that are stopping you from making progress with your business, I'd like to show you how you can quickly and easily overcome them, and start making money TWO different ways!

I just finished reviewing a new training program called the Internet Marketing Certification Program. It's an expert-led virtual training course that gives you all of the skills, support, motivation, and confidence you need to succeed online.

From what I've seen, this Certification Program is the ONLY ebusiness training program available that offers a comprehensive three-level approach to building a business:

>> Self-paced online learning based on a proven process

>> Exclusive ebusiness learning software for implementing your lessons

>> A personal online support system with real-world experts

Developed by the experts at the Internet Marketing Center, everything in the Program is virtual, so you learn at your own pace, on your own schedule. But that doesn t mean you're on your own. You'll complete homework, tests, and get feedback from online instructors.

The program is hands-on, so you'll actually apply what you learn, as you learn it, to create your own profitable website. And you'll use IMC's exclusive ebusiness learning software to do the "heavy lifting" for you.

Then when you graduate (I'm told that some students complete the program in as little as one month), you'll have a complete website already getting traffic.

You'll also receive IMC's "Certified Internet Marketing Specialist" credential, which qualifies you to charge lucrative consulting fees to help others start their websites.

And IMC even guarantees your results! If you don't have a completed website already getting traffic by the time you graduate, they'll refund your money.

In my opinion, this Certification Program is the perfect cure to the frustration of trying to make money online on your own, and never making any progress. I recommend you check it out right away, while IMC's still offering a steep reduction on tuition fees.

Just go here to check out this highly educational program.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. For a short time only, IMC is offering a special $150 discount on tuition fees, so you should check it out right away.
