Legitimate Online Businesses: Making Money Selling Products

There are a few different ways to make money selling products. One way is to create and sell your own products. Crafters often get into this type of business to sell their own creations to the online public, and scrapbook creators choose this path for their business.

Another way to sell products is through an online store that sells already made products. With this way, you would not have to stock an inventory of items in your home, nor would you have to ship anything directly from your own location. The products are ordered through the ‘store’ you have set up and the wholesaler providing the products will ship the items directly to the customers for you. This way is popularly known as drop shipping.

What skills are helpful?

Hard work and good customer services skills are among the skills you should have. In addition, a lot of time will be needed to market your websites so potential customers will find you. Having a good website set up is necessary to provide customers everything they will need when deciding whether or not to buy your products.

Customers will also have questions about the products, and they may have some problems that you will need to address, so good customer service skills are a must. Establishing good rapport with your customers starts the cycle of them coming back to you to buy more. Therefore, providing them with top notch customer service will help you gain rapport.

What tools are needed?

If you chosen to sell products that you created yourself, you will need to stock up on an inventory of items to create them. Check with some vendors and craft stores to find deals on items that are purchased in bulk to help you save some money.

Of course a website is necessary as well since your customers will need to find your products, see what they are, and have a way to order what you’re offering. Make sure your site has a shopping cart feature to make the purchasing process easier for your business and customers.

How do you get started?

The first thing you need to do is to decide what you’re going to sell. Are you creating your own products to sell or are you planning to sell other products through the use of drop shippers?

If you’re planning to sell items you create yourself, you will need to research vendors for the materials you will need to make those products. Have some made up ahead of time, so that when consumers are ready to order your product, you can ship them out right away and not make them wait another day or two while you create them.

When the planning stage is done, you will need to create your website from where to you’re your products. Make sure your site is easy to navigate and doesn’t distract to where customers are turned off from your business within the first few seconds.

Of course, the last step to getting started in this business is marketing your products and website. This is the most important step if you want your business to be a success, so don’t skimp on this one.

Selling products is an excellent way to make money online. If you have already created products to give away as gifts to friends and family, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take these products to the internet and start selling them.

If you like the idea of selling products, but don’t want to create them yourself, or if you just don’t feel you are creative enough then you can still achieve this kind of business by having someone else ship products for you. Getting started this way online gives you the flexibility to spend the time needed with your family while still earning a living.

Types of Legitimate Online Businesses: Selling on E-Bay

In addition to Service Based and Affiliate Marketing businesses, another popular online business that a lot of people usually start out with is Selling on E-Bay. E-Bay is a popular online auction website that millions of people use every day to find good deals on items they are looking for.

You can sell anything you have sitting around your house as well as sell items using a drop ship method. If you search on the site, you will see a variety of items people are trying to sell. They could either be used items or brand new items that come from wholesalers. Either way, people will pay good money if you provide them with what they’re looking for.

Some people even go so far as to buy items from flea markets and garage sales for the sole purpose of reselling them on E-Bay for a profit.

What skills are helpful?

There aren’t a lot of skills you would need to sell items on e-bay. The ability to market your items will be the most important skill to have. People can do a search on the site for the items you’re selling, but if you want to make money in this type of business, you will want to market those items elsewhere to get people to find them.

If you’re selling items from your home, you need to take a good photo of the item so people can see what shape the item is in, not to mention the item itself.

What tools are needed?

Really, the only tools you would need to start this type of business include an E-Bay account so you can sell your items. If you plan to use a drop ship method, you would need to find a wholesaler that will ship the items directly to your customers.

Also, a computer with a reliable internet access will be necessary to keep track of your sales. You will also need a payment account such as PayPal to receive money from your customers.

How do you get started?

Sign up for an E-Bay seller account. Also, plan on purchasing items from the site as this will help build your user ratings so others will have a little more confidence in buying from you.

Place photos, if possible, of the items that you want to sell. Items that have a photo of the items sell much faster than those that do not. People like to see what it is they’re buying, so provide them with the best quality photo possible.

Review all informational materials as well as the rules on E-Bay. This is so you can get tips on making more sales and how the process of selling on the site works.

Selling on E-Bay is an excellent way to start your own online business. This gives you your first taste of an online business without having to obtain a lot of equipment to get started. Plus, you get the benefit of getting rid of items that are cluttering up your home while you make a little money on the side.

Getting Started With Cash Building Strategies

The fear of the process of getting started tends to make people procrastinate when starting their own business. This fear usually boils down to the fact that many just don’t know how to do it, or where to even start, but there is help with this process. So lay your fears to rest, and you can move through the getting started phase with ease.

To start here are some frequently asked questions that most newbies have with the process of getting started.

Do I have to have special skills or degrees to start my own business?

You will need to have some knowledge in the field in which you are going to embark, but it’s not necessary to have any business or college degrees to accomplish starting your own business; that’s not to say having such will not be beneficial, but personal experience can help as well. Of course, it will depend on the type of business you want to start.

Simple research in the field you plan to start your business will be sufficient enough to give you what you need in most cases. If you’re planning to offer services such as web design or something similar, you should have some skills in that area before trying to start your business.

College degrees and experience are always helpful in gaining expertise in a field, but you usually don’t have to have any degrees to have your own online business. Knowledge has more power online, so reading everything you can get your hands on relating to your field will more important.

Will it Cost a lot of money?

Starting your own online business generally does not cost much money. The money you put into it is mostly for a computer, internet access, and a website, including hosting. Any other costs will be based on the type of business you wish to get into.

Businesses where you will sell items you have created will take some investment to stock the inventory items, but there are great deals you can find on the internet for this purpose. If you plan to sell a service, such as web design, you will need to add software programs to your list of tools to purchase.

For the most part, you won’t have to run to your local bank to beg them for a loan. Find the best deals on the items you’ll need for your chosen business, and you won’t have to worry about the interest rates a loan would add to your budget.

Will I still be able to start my own business online, even if I’ve never run my own business before?

Absolutely. Hundreds of Internet Marketers have started their own businesses and made a success of it without having had any previous business experience. Again, it all adds up to how much time and effort you put into your research.

The internet itself holds a plethora of information at your fingertips to help you learn every aspect of the business you want to start. You can find tips, tricks, and all sorts of information from people who’ve been there and done it, so utilize this resource to gain the power that knowledge will bring you.

How much money can I make from an online business?

This varies on a lot of factors. What business you start, how much time and effort you put into it, and the return of investment on what you’re offering; all play a part in what you will essentially make.

Some internet marketers make a six figure income, while others make the same amount a full time fast food worker generally makes. No matter how much your business brings in, you will still be ahead of those who commute to their jobs. The money they spend on gas, clothes for work, and meals, etc is money that goes into your pocket and not someone else’s.

Do I really need a website?

A website will be needed in order to conduct your business. You will need to sell your products or show potential clients what services you have to offer. It serves as your ‘office’ or ‘store’ would, only you won’t need to rent out expensive space in a building to use for your online business.

Websites are pretty easy to create if you use one of the many website design software programs or website building services. If you choose, you can also hire a web designer to create a killer site for your business, so don’t let your lack of web design skills hold you back.

Do I need special business licenses to run an online business?

You will want to check with your local government agencies or Better Business Bureau to determine what you will need in your area. Each area is different, so it’s best to check and see what you need before starting your business.

I’m nervous about taking money from customers. What if I mess up the payment processing system?

If you’re selling items, you will want to use an online payment system like PayPal or Clickbank. These programs will take care of the whole payment process for you, including refunds. Shopping cart software a lot of times will come with a web building program, so take advantage of that option.

With this you will be well on your way to a successful online income. To your success!

Here's the Garbage...see why (Video)

Garbage...never thought I could learn much from it but yesterday was garbage day...and yes I do mean 'real' garbage. You know what I mean, orange peels, old newspapers, and just the all around 'yuck' that you toss out each day.

OK .. so who cares ...right?

But here's the thing, the garbage man that was driving through the neighborhood had his cell phone stuck to his ear and was simply moving a joy stick, which moved an 'arm' outside the truck, that scooped up the trash can and flipped it over to dump the garbage into the truck.

Complete automation of the whole garbage collection process. So easy he never put his phone down for a second.

Now maybe this is simply a product of the suburbs but when I grew up in the city, we had alleys that the truck drove down, 3 guys in back and 1 driver, all getting off the truck, lifting the garbage cans and manually dumping the garbage into the truck.

Rain, snow, heat, etc...this four man crew was out there freezing or sweating
and lifting more weight each day than an Olympic strong man.

4 hard working guys all replaced by one kid on a cell phone sitting on his butt and thumbing a joystick.

Welcome to the 21st Century!

Now I'm not sure how you feel about this ...maybe you're celebrating the advancement and automation of garbage collecting...

...or maybe you're lamenting the good old days and the loss of those 4 jobs being consolidated into 1.

If you're of the latter opinion, you can stop right here because...

...what I'm going to tell you next is going to really:

TICK YOU OFF!!!

Because at the same time those 4 garbage men were in their hey day, getting a website created and online was a complicated and expensive ordeal that claimed it's fair share of victims. Maybe even you?

It's easy to see why. The process was a complete nightmare.

But today it's just the opposite because not only is it simple to get an intrenet business fired up, the cost is now down to absolutely NOTHING.

Yes sir,

=> 98% automated

=> No cost

=> Simple copy and paste operation (you can do it while talking or even texting)

Really makes those "whiz kids" of the internet bubble era seem a little less
"whizzy".

After all, they spent small and large fortunes alike to accomplish the exact same thing.

But that was yesterday and today automation and simplicity rules the internet highway.

Want to see for yourself how this works?

There's a step by step demo video for you to watch so you can see 1st hand how to "dump the hard work and complicated trash" and push a few buttons instead.

If you've tried other systems before, you probably discovered they didn't come close
to living up to their hype or were still overly complicated or so simplistic that they were worthless.

But this is the "Real McCoy" and there's no way to beat the price either :-)

So take it for a spin...you will like it - I promise. Plus, there's no way to lose except to miss out on this opportunity.

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. Oh, you're probably wondering how a freebie could be worth much, or if this is
nothing but a junky gimmick.

It's because this is a new product in beta testing and you get to be the tester. Once this goes live, the price shoots up to 497 (or more).

P.P.S. If just the thought of a website gives you the heebie jeebies, then you
might want to give this a try instead - Same price - Nada
