Make Money Selling Information Products

The internet is a great place to sell your knowledge and expertise. Many people will pay almost anything to get information they are desperately looking for, so if you have the knowledge that they want, you could earn a substantial income.

Information products come in many forms. They could be any one of the following:

  • Ebooks

  • E-Courses

  • Tutorials

  • Guides

  • Podcasts

These popular information products are well sought after by internet users all over. If you have something to say, this could be the business for you.

What skills are helpful?

You should know about the topic that you’re going to present to your consumers. It is not necessary to have a doctorate degree or of any kind of degree to do this, but having a considerable amount of knowledge in the field would be helpful.

Also, the ability to market your materials will be helpful. The more people you reach with your products, the more people who may want to buy from you.

What Tools will be needed?

The tools you need will depend on what you plan to provide. E-Books and Guides can be written on word processing software and then converted to a PDF document. PDF documents are the most popular type of documents.

Auto responder programs are needed for creating successful e-courses. Podcasts would need audio recording and editing software. Tutorials can be done a variety of ways. You can use Power Point presentations to present your material, or you could use video tutorial software. Video tutorials are great for showing users how to use a specific program step by step.

Websites and blogs are also necessary for promoting your information products.

How to get started

You will need to decide on a topic for your product. What area do you have the most knowledge about that you could provide your potential consumers? When you know what you want to provide, research that topic to see if you can find a new and unique angle to present it.

Since there are lots of ebooks, tutorials, etc. on the internet for sale, you will need to find something new to give to your customers. They will not be as willing to hand over their money if they don’t think you have something new and unique to give them.

Write out or record your information product and edit it to your satisfaction. Once you have it the way you want it, you can start selling it. Create a blog or website to sell it from and make sure the site’s web copy content grabs internet user’s attention so they can purchase what you are offering.

Hire a copywriter if you can afford one to write the copy to promote those materials. Your copywriter can write content in a way that makes your product so desirable that anyone would want to purchase it.

Creating information products does not cost a lot, but you can sell them for a nice profit. This is an excellent way to earn income online while maintaining a flexible schedule which allows you to spend more time with your family.

Build It & They'll Come (Not)...Know Why?

Field of Dreams is definitely one of my all time favorite old movies because it's such a great story of hope and faith. Plowing under his crops to build a baseball field in the middle of an Indiana corn field while on the verge of losing his house and farm to the bank ...

...and doing all of this on blind faith and chasing a dream because he was told, "build it and they will come".

Of course, everyone thought he was crazy until crowds of people showed up and paid to watch the games...

...it's simply a GREAT story. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, then
fire up a rental ASAP)

Call me old fashioned but I think there was a time where actual people were the stars of the movie and the animators stuck to cartoons (not that I still don't love Bugs Bunny)...but I digress.

Here's my real point!

I does NOT work this way in real life.

I watch these ads on TV, and also hear them on the radio and see them on the internet about these 'miraculous' websites that people can buy and instantly be online and selling like they've just grabbed Amazon by the throat and are ready to deliver the death blow of serious competition.

But that's nothing but a dream...it never works that way...never! Build it and nobody will come. Sorry, that's life.

Plopping a website in the middle of the internet is worse than a ball field in the middle of a corn field in 'podunk' nowhere. It's more like hiding a baseball in a cave in the desert.

Nobody is ever going to find it, and nobody is ever going to buy anything from you (except your Mom ...Mom's always do these things, it's in their nature).

So if you've seen these commercials and are tempted...SLAP...snap out of it - Don't Do It!

You need to look reality square in the eyes.

Check It Here - No Dream

Now you need to decide between your Field of Dreams and something real, something proven, but something that "ain't no lottery ticket".

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. Just because something is "real" doesn't mean "hard", if you do nothing else, at least watch the short video to see what reality looks like.

Are You like "Joe The Plumber"?

If you've been watching the news or the
debate a couple nights ago, you probably already
know about "Joe The Plumber" ...and Joe
is pretty much like all the small business
people I've known throughout the years.

You see "Joe The Plumber" started from
basically nothing and through hard work
and dedication, built his plumbing business
up to a nice profitable small business.

But now he's worried that Senator Obama
is going to penalize him for his success and
raise his taxes which will make it harder for
him to buy a new work truck.

And this is where Senator Obama made his
now famous comment about taking Joe's
money and "spreading the wealth around
to the people behind him".

But ... to me, that's not the real point here.

The real point is that "Joe The Plumber"
was able to advance from a very modest
position in life -- no advanced education,
-- no trust fund -- no connections -- etc.
and put himself in a position where he is
now worried about getting lumped in with
the rest of the "rich folks" and asked to pay
more taxes.

And that's what's so great about the internet.

Because the internet has made it so easy
for millions of ordinary folks to start their
deal and make their own way on line instead
of going to work each day -- or for some
folks, provide for a passive 2nd revenue
stream or 2 to compliment their work wages.

If you want to have the same worries as "Joe
The Plumber", worried that you're making too
much money, then you need to do what "Joe
The Plumber" has done.

You need to have your own business too!

If you've been a part of my newsletter for
very long, then you already know I do a LOT
of program testing. And this is my #1
business so I recommend that you give this
one a good hard look.

P.S. One huge advantage of the internet is that
you can do this on Auto-Pilot ...no trucks, no
tools, no employees, no customer hassles.
